Renovations

Located on Lake Street in the Saugatuck/Douglas Historical district.  Full renovation including new foundation and addition, keeping the historical charm of the front facade.

Located in Saugatuck, Michigan, this house was originally slid down the frozen Kalamazoo river to its current location in the early 1900's.  Since the house is in the historical district, we had to comply with this historical society's renovation regulations, which includes the use of materials and finishes that would have been found on the original structure.  The cottage was lifted to allow a new block foundation, then lowered on its new foundation, and completely renovated.
